About
Lys is a Bluesky, Threads and Twitter bot that posts regular reminders for Eurovision national final shows taking place soon. It is purely a fan project and has no affiliation whatsoever to the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest nor the EBU.Broadcaster's websites user accounts
Some broadcasters will require you to have an account on their website to be able to watch content on there (such as live TV or replays). This section aims at giving indications on how to create such accounts on various broadcasters' websites.Serbia (RTS)
The following instructions are much easier to follow on a computer rather than a mobile device (if on mobile, you can still use (if availble) the option to display the website in "Desktop mode").- Navigate to rtsplaneta.rs
- Switch to the latin alphabet using the dropdown menu in the top right corner (the rest of the instructions will refer to the way items on the website are written in latin, not cyrillic - sorry to the language enthusiasts out there!)
- Click the red "PRIJAVITE SE" button in the top right corner, right next to the alphabet selection dropdown list
- A login pop-up will open. From there, you can choose to login to RTS PLANETA using a Facebook account by clicking on the corresponding blue button ("Fesjbuk prijava"). If you wish to create an account manually instead, follow the rest of the instructions
- Click on "Registrujte se besplatno." under the form, on the very last line of the pop-up
- Fill in the 4 mandatory fields (Ime = First Name, Prezime = Last Name, E-mejl = E-mail, Lozinka = Password)
- In the second block under the form, check the box next to "Нисам робот" (Nisam robot) and complete the "captcha" puzzle (if prompted) to prove you are not a robot
- Check the box next to "Prihvatam korisničke uslove RTS usluge" under the "Нисам робот" to accept the RTS terms of service (you can also read the said terms of service (in Serbian) by clicking the read "orisničke uslove" link in the middle of the label of the checkbox)
- Click the red "REGISTRUJTE SE" button at the very end of the page, in the bottom right corner of the block
- You will receive an email with a link to click to activate your account. Click the "Potvrdi <your email address>" red button in the middle of the email
- Once your account has been activated, login to RTS PLANETA to finalize your registration: navigate to rtsplaneta.rs and click the red "PRIJAVITE SE" button in the top right corner to log in
- Enter the email adress you used to register in the first field ("Korisničko ime (e-mejl)", and your password in the second field ("Lozinka")), then click on the red "PRIJAVITE SE" button to the right of the password ("Lozinka") field
- You will be redirected to a page titled "Izjava o zaštiti ličnih podataka za uslugu RTS Planeta", which is the data policy of RTS (that you need to approve to continue using RTS Platena). To approve it, scroll to the very end, check the "Prihvatam izjavu o zaštiti ličnih podataka" box and click on the red "Nastavite" button (avoid the blue button: it will delete your account)
- You will then be redirected to a page titled "Odaberite svoj pretplatnički paket". Scroll down a little until you see a blue "Aktiviraj Besplatni Paket" (Activate free package) button, and click on this button
- Your registration is now complete, you can watch the Serbian selection using the link provided by Lys on Twitter or on the calendar on this website!
Croatia (HRT)
The following instructions are much easier to follow on a computer rather than a mobile device (if on mobile, you can still use (if availble) the option to display the website in "Desktop mode").- Navigate to hrti.hrt.hr/home
- In the top right corner, click the account icon that looks like this: person
- Switch the language to English using the dropdown list in the top right corner (hover over it and click "English")
- From there, you can choose to login to HRTI using a Google or Facebook account by clicking on the corresponding button. If you wish to create an account manually instead, follow the rest of the instructions
- To create an account manually, click on "You don't have an account? Register for free!" under the Google/Facebook login buttons
- You can switch back to English by using the dropdown list in the top right corner again (hover over it and click "English")
- Fill in the required information (First name, Last name, email and password fields) - all fields are mandatory)
- Check the "I agree with terms and conditions" box under the "Repeat password" field (you can also read the said terms and conditions by clicking on "I agree with terms and conditions" instead of checking the box)
- Check the "I'm not a robot" box under the "I agree with terms and conditions" box and complete the "captcha" puzzle (if prompted) to prove you are not a robot
- Click on "REGISTER" under the "I'm not a robot" checkbox
- You will receive an email with a link to click to activate your account
- Once your account has been activated, you can login to HRTI and watch the Croatian selection using the link provided by Lys on Twitter or on the calendar on this website!
